Already the best poet I've read, Collin Kelley published his first novel this year, and it is one of my favorites ever. The story of Martin, Irene, David, and Diane is touching, funny, heartbreaking, fascinating, and it captivated me from the first page. The first of a trilogy, it is a showcase for the brilliance of Collin's writing, a story told with the same elegance, power, and honesty as in his poetry. It plays over and over in my mind as the film I most wish would be made. I cannot wait to return to Collin's Paris and spend more time with David and Irene. This is my most highly recommended book.
