This is the first Malory/Johanna Lindsey novel I read and I fell in love with the characters! Lindsey has a way of portraying the entire family in a way that it's hard to put the book down.
Lindsey also includes info and gossip on the other members of the Malory clan; creating an appeal to read the rest of the books in the series.
