There were times reading this novel that I laughed so hard I was embarassed to be reading it in a public place. This novel is truly worth reading. It has a wonderful story and you learn about Northern Ireland in the process. I wish that there were more stories like this out there.

The premise alone was enough to draw me to this book but the story kept me reading. While reading this novel I spanned the emotional divide between a somber saddness for Lionel's lonesomeness and hilarity at his uncontrolable ticks. I enjoyed this far more than I thought that I would
