This is a the diaper-free book for Everywoman (or man). If you think Elimination Communication sounds like something only obsessive parents or hippies should try, READ THIS BOOK. It is completely down to earth and is written for an audience of mostly-conventional parents. It is great as a reference or for someone just getting started or considering EC.
By the way, EC is for real, and it works. Our two daughters were doing their business in the potty from birth (much of the time) and were both out of diapers by 14 months.
