What a pretty pretty book! It's worth the price for the illustrations alone. All those great pulpy colors!
The fun of it, though, is in the sheer absurdity of some of the design concepts. "Oh, ha ha. Look: it's a house made of FOAM!" ...but really it's about the passionate inventor. Like the Simpson's episode where Homer designs a car. It's like that. Something new and far out for the sake of being new and far out...and maybe just incredibly useful.

A LOVELY, illustrated history of the stewardess.

THE perfect gift for the Stew-bum (or the 'Coffee, Tea, or Me' girl) in your life

Siiigh. It's such a shame that go-go boots are no longer considered appropriate stewardess-wear.
