I'm on modified Atkins for epilepsy, and one of the primary researchers for that wrote the forward to this book. Versus the older editions of Atkins, there's more flexibility, the authors give options for vegans using Atkins and Hispanic diets, and tons of great research.

Funny and readable. I liked the information, which would have been VERY helpful the year I converted to an Episcopal church. I also learned some new things, like the meaning of the Episcopal shield, even if the authors never did actually explain why we have our own version of the Psalms.
