The Umbrella Academy series has everything you could want from a comic book: orphans, superpowers, time travel, a guy on so much speed he sees centipedes, death, lasers, and someone shouting "I AM A GAZELLE AND THE JUNGLE IS MY HOME!" It's well drawn, well done and generally fantastic. Totally worth a read. ;D
