this book is very well written. every turn of the page reveals some rare photos and/or art regarding the adjacent text. i could never get through a book of the history of world war two with all the carnage and grief and complexity. wagner lays it all out as clearly as possible, to make this an educational and absorbing read and experience. well done ms wagner.
