Danse Macabre: An Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Novel by Laurell K. Hamilton
Danse Macabre: An Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Novel

gothgirl1977, April 5, 2007

The Anita Blake novels are my absolute favorite series. It is true that Laurell K. Hamilton started off the series with pretty much no sexual content and now all the newer books are full of it but it does seem to go with the story. Her books just keep getting better and better as far as I am concerned and Danse Macabre is her best yet. I hope she never stops writing on this series, my only complaint is that the books don't get published fast enough for me. Some interesting things happened in this book that makes me think the next book, coming out in June, will be even better still.

Micah: An Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Novel (Anita Blake Vampire Hunter) by Laurell K. Hamilton
Micah: An Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Novel (Anita Blake Vampire Hunter)

gothgirl1977, April 5, 2007

While I love all the Anita Blake novels, it is true that Micah is very different from her previous novels. Each chapter has only a few pages, the book was good but could have been better with more story.

For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison
For a Few Demons More

gothgirl1977, April 5, 2007

I have greatly enjoyed the previous Kim Harrison books in this series but the ending for this book really threw me. She has ruined the series for me with her ending of this book. I don't think I can continue to read these books knowing that she does not mind killing off characters that have been so important to the story so far.
