This book is beautiful, funny, silly and cool. In addition to the eccentric storyline, it displays a level of design that is rare in a picture book. In a new generation of hip kid's books, this book shines!

What do you get when you cross sci-fi slackers, make magazine, dungeons and dragons, gangster noir, egyptology, true love, a fela kuti soundtrack, and a culturally diverse urban neighborhood in canada? I know what you're thinking: an overly ambitious mess. But it isn't. It's an amazing epic poem of a novel which I have been religiously recommending since I found it. Minister Faust is woefully underpublished.
