The perfect novel for the beginning of October as the weather cools and Halloween approaches. I've loved this book since childhood and as I've grown up, the affection is still there. Spooky, charming, and a perfect taste of a distantly Gothic othertime in the American Midwest. I always hear the dirge in train whistles at night. Thank you, Ray Bradbury.
