This is by far the most comprehensive and beautifully photographed baking cookbook I've come across so far. I am a newbie cook, and I have found all the recipes I've tried so far to be very easy and not intimidating at all. The recipes may be easy to make, but the flavors and fragrances are very sophisticated. I've made the oatmeal raisin cookies for many non-vegan friends and colleagues, and the response has been disbelief that they don't contain butter and eggs. That to me says it all. I can't recommend this book enough.
