I Was a Teenage Fairy is one of those books that after you read it, you are left mezmorized with enchantment and you feel a sparkle of happiness within you. I Was a Teenage Fariy is about a young girl whos mother brings her into a world of high fashion pictures, crazy make up, and confusion of her dreams. Young Barbie is forced to enter the glamalicious world of modeling, but she feels so alone even though she has everything. Soon Barbie makes an expected friend who happens to be a mab fairy. Mab and Barbie soon become unsepartable.
After time Barbie leaves the beautiful world of pagents and photo shoots and moves out to live her own life. She soon finds love and realizes what the word diceive really means. Flashbacks from her child hood haunt her, but with mabs help she conqures her fear of going back home, falling in love, and realizing who she really is. She faces her father, who left her mother and her when she was young, she faces the man who betrayed her and she faces herself, with mab within.
