Down Home Ever Lovin’ Mule Blues

Author: Jacquie Rogers

Publisher: Highland Press

ISBN-13: 978-0-9800356-8-1

Format: Trade paperback

Ms. Rogers has once again captivated me with her imagination and prose.

I received an ARC, and had a very hard time putting it down. I love the setting in the story, my home state of Idaho . Yes Grasmere is a real town. Brody is a rodeo clown who is hiding from the corporate world of Pettybottham Enterprises. Enter the sophisticated, beautiful, and intriguing Rita Markham, an up and coming actuary for his family’s business. This tough bullfighter’s knees go weak when he goes to rescue the Markham 's apples from a stubborn mule named Socrates, and sees the beautiful Rita, When did she grow up?

I cannot wait to read more from Jacquie Rogers. The book world has its newest star.

Warrior's Bride by Gerri Russell
Warrior's Bride

hurricanemercedes, November 26, 2007

The Warrior Bride by Gerri Russell is a wonderfully written story. The talented Ms. Russell took events from history and made a sad story into a happily ever after, and her story transported me back to another time. I loved finding out the hero’s secret...he is a nice guy despite his reputation. This story has many twists and turns that keep you guessing. I read this book before I found out it had a companion book the Warrior Trainer, which you should read first. I cannot wait to read it. I hope to see more from this great author.

Blue Moon Enchantment
Blue Moon Enchantment

hurricanemercedes, November 1, 2007

What happens when you wish upon a blue moon? Magical romance, that's what!

Read 15 heartwarming stories by 15 talented authors. Each story can stand on it’s own and you can read them in any order. Pay special attention to the story "Blue Moon Magic" by the late Anne Marie Bradley. All of the stories in this anthology are great; my favorite is "When Mules Rush In" by Jacquie Rogers.

Even if you don’t believe in the magic of the blue moon... once you read Blue Moon Enchantment you will find yourself wishing upon the blue moon, too.

This is a companion book to Blue Moon Magic. If you like this book you will love No Law Against Love, Faery Special Romances, and Cat O' Nine Tales. Many of the authors in these books have either been nominated for or won several awards, including ParaNormal Romance's P.E.A.R.L. Award.

Faery Special Romances by Jacquie Rogers
Faery Special Romances

hurricanemercedes, July 7, 2007

Faery Special Romances by Jacquie Rogers is a delightful collection of short stories each connected by the faery Princess Keely starting with Keely as a precocious kindergartner in the year 1199 and ends sometime in the future after the frozen time With Keely?s own love story.
This is a sweet romance with some steamy hot scenes.
Jacquie Rogers? characters are well developed and you could picture the story playing in your imagination as you read. I had a very hard time putting the book down. I
Jacquie is donating the royalties from this book to The Children?s Tumor Foundation to help find a cure for Neurofibromatosis.
This is a great read and you will not be disappointed.
