Labor's Untold Story by Richard O. Boyer and Herbert M. Morais

hworthen, September 11, 2006

Until the publication of Murolo and Chitty's From the Folks Who Brought You the Weekend, this was the most widely available and read history of American labor. It may still be the best loved. Written in a dramatic narrative style that doesn't avoid colorful language, it sounds good read aloud. Published by the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America union, (UE), it has gone through about thirty printings and has been read by millions. A good index makes it a reference work as well.
