Mistborn: The Final Empire (Mistborn #1) by Brandon Sanderson
Mistborn: The Final Empire (Mistborn #1)

The first book in the Mistborn series is beyond excellent. Mistborn has it all, action, romance, comedy, and intrigue. Sanderson immerses you in a revolutionary plot for the ages, brought on by a well-matched cast of thieves and noblemen. The intensely developed magic system is fascinating. Sanderson is skilled at communicating the character's thoughts and painting vivid images of the barren land his three-dimensional characters inhabit. It will leave you wanting to read the next installments.

The King of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner
The King of Attolia

This best book ever! The characters are so well written, with so many intricacies. Turner's third Thief book is the best playing on all the inside jokes build up between the characters in her previous books. Clearly the best of the series so far. If you haven't read Turner's other books its not a problem, I read this one first myself and found it simply delightful and it encouraged me to read the earlier thief novels. The plot is brilliant and executed by Turner's master hand. Its so amazing you just can't pass it up.

Fragile Eternity
Fragile Eternity

This addition to Marr's Tales of Faerie is a must. I personally feel Fragile Eternity is better then Wicked Lovely, the first in the series. The book included alot of information about the various courts and characters. The relations between the other faeries are expanded upon. And motives are revealed.
