this book has an amazing contemplation of characters and the way tht mercedes lackey and andre norton pulled it all off was wonderful. My favourite part of the story is when Shana (the elvenbane and the main character) takes it to a bully dragon who is hurting her foster brother Keman(another dragon whoes mother Alara tookin Shana after her mother died in child birth and shana to keman as a pet but they never knew that she was the child of hte prophecy)by using her wizard powers to magicaly through laarge rocks at him.
but another neat thing with the story is that when a new character is introduced the auther has a part in the chapter just for them. ! flaw in the story though is that the chapters are 15 pages long and they're long pages! Anyway I would recomend this book toand fantasy readers that want to read wonderful tale of love, hate, betrayal, and friendship.
