Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
Outlander

jamfiddler, January 10, 2010

I have read all of the books by Diana Gabaldon
except the most current one, which I do own...just need time to read it at the moment.

I would vote her as my favorite author of the past decade.

Those Who Save Us by Jenna Blum
Those Who Save Us

jamfiddler, October 13, 2009

What a book! Couldn't put it down. Knew there was never going to be peace for Anna. She was a strong woman; but the horrors she witnessed and knew were happening, was much too much for anyone; but she saved her child and resisted the devil in her own way.
To find out about your origins, so late in the game, is sad, as well..
Being so blindly naive about who her father really was; Trudy ends up a hero in the end though, a very strong & knowing woman.

I wanna read the book
there's words in it that fill a page
'tell the facts of life or rage

biker or not, it doesn't matter
it's all real, not schmeal;
here's one place where you'll find a deal
