After going to Baking and Pastry school, I am a little wary of books that are written for the at home baker. However I can honestly say I am very impressed with the techniques he passes on as well as the recipes he provides. If you want to make some amazing confections, this book will really help!
One of the best baking books around. Cindy's recipes are easy to follow and delicious. I am a graduate from a Baking and Pastry program and I almost wish this was included in required textbooks!

I could not put this down and read it in one sitting, staying up through the night. It is full of superb storytelling.
