For years Ive been photograghing graffitti on trains and run down buildings in the San Antonio Texas area. I saw Graffitti World on the self of a Planet K (headshop in Austin) and had to have the moment I flipped through it. Its loaded with some amazing art. Now if I could just get in touch with Nicholas Ganz, or someone reading this please tell him the artist KWEST on pages 68 and 69 BOXSTARZ crew I have photographed his work 30 miles south of San Antonio. Yes, NO B.S. After reveiwing the book for hours I noticed I had Photographed some of the same art done by Kwest of the BOXSTARZ not just once but several times includeing today. No MISTAKEING! Three times ive seen KWEST, Three times BOX*S. Each peice has B.S.M and BOXSTARZ somewhere in the peice, sometimes the year it was done in. I think its awesome to reflect on the art you have done, but could you imagine someone showing you photos of your own work that has made its way across the country. AND I FOUND IT IN THIS BOOK! Whats the chances? Dont forget when you see a train you usually only see one side! SO NICHOLAS GANZ please tell Kwest his art has made it to south Texas on several occasions and I would love to send you the Photos to share with him the next time you two cross paths. The book says Kwest is Canadian born but out of curiousity I would like to know were his art originates. To know how far it traveled to get here? IF YOU LIKE TRUE ART AT ITS FREEIST FORM THIS IS THE BOOK! Now Nicholas get in touch with me so I can send you these photos. jim-grace@sbcglobal.net
