My favorite DON'T DIY book is SICK CITY. With memories of Stahl/ Welsh/Burroughs I enjoyed this 2010 gross-out story. It took the typical junkies' "same old problems" and premised the idea,"How do you know you've hit rock bottom when money is no object?" I will be reading more Tony O'Neill.

Gifted to/forced on more friends...Budhist cop/detective challenged in Eastern Sin City? An unsuspected ending that shocked me,grossed me out & left me smiling? I wallowed in John Burdett's satisfying book!
