A delightful journey into the heart, Guest House is simply elegant. The novel takes the reader through the trials and tribulations of relationship. As Ms. Richardson takes us through the darkest moments of the heart, we are also treated to the sweetest experience. Melba, a middle aged woman, who has decided to simplify her life after a traumatic event, finds herself sharing her home with a woman who will change her life forever. Just when we least expect it, relationship can pleasantly surprise us in places and ways unexpected.
