David James Duncan is my absolute favorite writer.
When i was twelve, my father took me to hear him speak.
i had not yet read any of his works.
Now, only two years later, i have read this along with THE RIVER WHY and RIVER TEETH, and now I wish that I could have read them before I heard him speak.
This is a wonderful read.
