The Moon Seems to Change (Let's Read-And-Find-Out Science) by Franklyn Mansfield Branley
The Moon Seems to Change (Let's Read-And-Find-Out Science)

I teach a class of Life Skills students, grade 5 - 8 (intellectual disabilities). I read this book to my students, then acted out how the sun, earth and moon interact, using the illustrations as examples. The students were enthusiastically engaged by the demonstration and the concepts stayed with them.

Note: This book was recommended by staff at the Boston Museum of Science, in preparation for our visit to the planetarium.
