When I was reading this book I was commenting out loud so much ("oh wow", "no way" "oh my gosh", things like that) that my fiance picked it up when I stepped out of the room and couldn't put it down! I wasn't even done with the book yet, so I was ancy to get my turn!
This is the best book on diet and nutrition that I have ever read, and the best non-fiction book I read in 2011. I have read many books in this category, and none have been as well researched and compelling as this one. It was informative, and at times shocking. Dr. Fuhrman has a way of getting information across that makes you want to take action for your own health. Maybe because he respects our intelligence and knows we're smart enough to handle and digest solid information, not the trite unresearched pablum that's usually available in this category.
My fiance and I are making changes in our diet, having fun with it, and are starting to feel a whole lot better as a result. You're doing yourself a favor by reading this book.
