Amazing book. My husband had been trying to get me to read it for awhile and when I finally agreed to start it I couldn't put it down. It has changed my approach to running and I have handed this book to other runners I know.

Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life (P.S.) by Barbara Kingsolver and Steven L. Hopp and Camille Kingsolver
Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life (P.S.)

I really enjoyed Kingsolver's look at how to live locally for a year. Part of what I truly like was that she was doing it with kids in tow. Yes, one daughter was in college, but the other was 9(?). So, it made her project feel doable (unlike when I read This Organic Life-great book, but an older couple with no kids). And, I loved the recipes she included with each month. I'll admit that Kingsolver is my favorite author. Period. But, this was an excellent look at a timely question.
