The Feeling of What Happens: Body and Emotion in the Making of Consciousness by Antonio Damasio

kent.fairfield, July 16, 2011

For many of us, this book is not an easy read; however, I strongly recommend it! In part, it explains the purpose and function of emotions. Once understood, so much of human behavior becomes clear. Apparent contradictions and differences of opinion, even by recognized experts, become comprehensible. This book, while technical in the field of neuroscience, contains revelations of immense significance to the human condition and individual personal behavior. It is a definite must read!
