The Empress's Tomb: Kiki Strike (Kiki Strike) by Kirsten Miller
The Empress's Tomb: Kiki Strike (Kiki Strike)

There are some very bad things going down in New York, and there's only one band of renegade girl scouts up to the job. But they might just have to save themselves first.

This is even better than the first (who thought that was possible?!) The stakes are higher, the twists are um... twistier... the secrets are bigger, deeper, and will keep you guessing.

Kiki Strike: Inside the Shadow City

An exciting tale of renegade ninja girl scouts exploring an ancient city under New York. The ringleader is Kiki Strike, but who is Kiki? Lonely student? Exiled Princess? International Assassin? Or legendary kung fu star? Full of fun tips on things such as how to spot a fake diamond, or how to follow someone without getting caught.

The Birchbark House

A wonderful tale of growing up as an Ojibwa girl in the mid-nineteenth century on what is now Madeline Island in Wisconsin. Highly recommended for fans of Laura Ingalls Wilder.
