This was the book I was most excited about in 2010, and I was not disappointed. I read the book as slowly as possible because I didn't want it to end so soon!
The Demon's Lexicon is still my favourite so far, but I'm biased because I love Nick =) I enjoyed seeing Jamie, Alan, Nick and the other characters through Mae's eyes though.
I don't particularly identify with Mae, but I find her character believable and human. Sarah Rees Brennan's characters are likeable as always; I even start sympathizing with one of the villains (whereas I was "Die, minion, die!" in the first book).
