Ironside: A Modern Faery's Tale

I loved Ironside!
I was terribly sad at some parts extremely happy at others and all over giddy with the anticipation of what would happen next! Black is amazing with her attention to detail and the flow of her writing! The connection between Tithe and Ironside is beautiful and poignant!
This book will leave you wanting for more!

Valiant: A Modern Tale of Faerie by Holly Black
Valiant: A Modern Tale of Faerie

kisaofthefae, February 4, 2008

I was very excited that Tithe had a sequal though I was nervous that the book could never hold a candle to the flame of its predecessor however I was proved wrong with Valiant and I was pleasently surprised to find this book just as dark and fantastic as the first. Still though the book leaves you wanting for more! I love the beautiful descriptions and the flow of the writing. Simply amazing.

Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale by Holly Black
Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale

This book is remarkably breathtaking and a pageturner from start to finish. I love that Black did not try to gloss her faeries over they were all the amazing and dark creatures that they truly are. The characters are all extremely unique and lovable in their own sinister ways!
