I have not had the opportunity to read this book yet, but very much would like to do so. But from all the reviews I have read this sounds like a wonderful twist on a great fairy tale. I would like to learn more about Lil and her life after she was supposed to send Cinderella to the ball. I can't imagine where she had a chance to really meet Prince Charming and fall in love with him. It will be interesting to find out if she is able to redeem herself by helping someone else that seems to get herself into bad relationships. Let's hope things work out for her!!

I'm not sure that any book is as good as the Harry Potter Series for magic but this sounds as though it has a somewhat different feel to it. I love most fantasy books and this is on my list to read. Can the world be taken over by alchemy or will the villian be stopped. I guess only by reading this book and others that hopefully follow, we will have the opportunity to find out.

After reading all the reviews I would really like to read this book. It certainly comes in a very different format. I would like to learn about this young boy and his huge talent as a map maker of all kinds. I would like to look at his maps and try to understand them along with the text of the book. I even love this young mans name. This sounds like a real winner.
