I have been making chinese food since I was about 15 years old. I have used many cookbooks and had moderate success with good tasting chinese food. I just made beef with broccoli and Sichuan green beans and it was far and away the best I have ever made. I wouldn't say that it is "easy" making chinese food. You have to have the timing just right and be able to juggle two dishes in two woks but the result was fabulous. I knew from Bee Yinn Low's descriptions that we have similar tastes..I really appreciate this book and look forward to trying out the other recipes!
It has been a few weeks since I finished The Social
Animal and I am still thinking about it. David Brooks did a marvelous job combining the fictional account of two families and studies about how people interact, the way they learn, the conditions that tend to make them successful and their relationships to each other. It was a compelling read. My 19 year old son enjoyed it as well.

This story is really amazing. My grandfather was in WWII but would never talk of his experiences. This is a way for me to learn about the war from one person's incredible story.
The Red Pyramid is a fun read. It has humor, adventure, magic and a wonderful cast of Egyptian characters. If you liked the Percy Jackson series you will enjoy this one as well. I am looking forward to the next book!

I loved this compelling story of a teenager that seemed so real to me that I hated for the story to end. I loved this book and I hope everyone gets a chance to read it.
