I had to read this novel for my Social Policy class. I enjoyed reading it alot. Alot of it was very confusing when it came to names. Too many names and slang terms that I didn't quite understand but still a very good read. It is well worth the time.
A novel that I would recommend is "Aman." This novel is about an African girl and the troubled life that she had to live growing up in Nigeria in the 60s. Very very good. Could not put it down until I finished it. Try reading it.
