As a Psychiatrist for 23 years who now does and shares The Work of Byron Katie with patients, I cherish anything Katie writes with her gifted author husband. This book transported me into a wonderful place that is available to all of us. Byron Katie experiences life with no fear and no attachment or identifcation with thought. This book is an amazing translation of the Tao written by Stephen Mitchell using Katie's words in a way that brings us into her experience of being at peace with what is 24/7. It is a gorgeously written book. I highly recommend it!

As a Board Certified Psychiatrist who does The Work of Byron Katie and shares it with people in my practice, I recommend Loving What Is as the basic text for learning to do The Work. It is deceptively simple and rich in it's instructions and has come up with answers to all the questions a mind will ask about The Work. I love The Work and, if done regularly, see it as providing the means for many to be weaned off medication.
