I had to read this book for my AP United States History class, and I was amazed at how good this book was. It goes deep into events in history that I didn't even know happened, and it was amazing to see the formation of the United States from a totally different point of view. This book is brutally honest about our nation's history, and it gives us a chance to reconsider beliefs about our country that have been hammered into us by previous history books. This book should be read by every American because it gives us the chance of finding out the truth about our real history.
