Just last week my boyfriend found this book through his substance abuse counselor. He was motivated by my leaving the relationship, tired of the emotional abuse.
I commend John Bradshaw for having the courage to write this book to help other people. I truly believe that 80 percent of ALL people need this advice. This thinking is missing in schools, counselors, and twelve step programs.
I will contact the author personally to thank him for my boyfriend's enlightenment. He is now working on his true self with or without me.
