Laini Taylor created a wonderful world with Demons and Angels, and avoided all the annoying cliches. Karou is a strong heroine with an actual personality and all of the characters have life to them.
I was unable to put down this book from the beginning and the writing is beautiful. This book is not just for young adults but for all who enjoy a great book!

Finally a YA dystopian series that the first book doesn't leave us with nothing resolved and a horrible cliffhanger! Lots of action and enough of a love story to make it a book I couldn't put down.
Thank you Veronica Roth for giving us a resolution at the end of the book to not leave us feeling like we only read half a book like some other YAs lately, but still leaving enough so that it's a series I am looking forward to finishing!
A must read for fans of the Hunger Games trilogy!!

The entire series was based on how cruel human beings can be and even to the end she didn't tie everything off with a pretty bow. We get what would probably happen in the real world, and I appreciated that very much!
