Your First Novel: A Published Author and a Top Agent Share the Keys to Achieving Your Dream by Ann Rittenberg
Your First Novel: A Published Author and a Top Agent Share the Keys to Achieving Your Dream

Aspiring authors, take note! Portland author Whitcomb has written the ultimate guide to getting your book in shape. Her agent, Anne Rittenberg, writes the second half of the book which is aimed at getting your novel in the hands of an agent, and then publisher. I've read it through at least four times, and each time I find something new. Would be a great Christmas gift for the writer you know, or get one for yourself, if you want to turn up the oomph on your ms.

I hate it when people call a book 'haunting', but in this case, it fits!
And the best part? She's a Portland author! She was just nominated for a prize for the German language edition and I haven't heard yet if she won...
