As a british vegetarian who has actively encouraged others to boycott McDonalds for several years now, Schlosser's book is a welcome ray of sunlight to the corporate onslaught that is the McDonalds machine.
Well reasoned, well argued and smartly written, the book flows along at a ripping pace, turning a multitude of facts and statistics from meaningless numbers into dramatic and jaw dropping analysis. A book for anyone and everyone this is an important peice of non-fiction writing that in the years to come will be heralded along with Spurlock's 'Super Size Me', and Linklater's cinematic take on 'Fast Food Nation' as the beginning of the American food revolution.
