This is a favorite picture book at our house. Groundhog just can't get to sleep, tries different things to make him sleepy and encounters many new characters he's never seen before. The pictures are very cute with lots of detail. The text is simple yet expansive, with an explanation of Groundhog's Day at the end. A wonderful book even an adult doesn't mind reading aloud over and over again.
