A Grain of Wheat by Ngugi Wa Thiongo
A Grain of Wheat

mbalik80, August 28, 2008

As africans our history does not determine where our future is heading but kind of remind us of our past and what our fellow people went through for us to be here today. This book does more than that, when it comes to the theme as we know the theme is derived from a chapter in the bible it somehow shows that for the rebirth of africa(kenya) some peole had to lay their lives while fighting for freedom of the african countries and their blood was like that of a grain of wheat that has to fall to the ground and die inorder to yield good a good harvest.
