When I finished this book, I wasn't sure whether to immediately start rereading it, or pass it on to my husband. I opted for the latter and had the fun of listening aloud to his favorite paragraphs. I'll have warm and toasty toes this season, thanks to the directions in this easy-to-follow and very complete book. My 15-year-old daughter taught herself to crochet by sitting down with these instructions one rainy afternoon and our life hasn't been the same since: she's crafted beautiful afghans, scarves and hats, and has now moved on to mittens and just last night...slipper sox. Ah, such bliss as another damp Northwest winter sets in!
