The Man Time Forgot: A Tale of Genius, Betrayal, and the Creation of Time Magazine by Isaiah Wilner
The Man Time Forgot: A Tale of Genius, Betrayal, and the Creation of Time Magazine

melking1972, January 19, 2007

While I enjoyed learning the history of this forgotten pioneer of journalism, I felt Wilner's writing tended to repeat. With so much information and history about the magazine and men behind it, he seemed to want to drive his point home rather than let the events stand by themselves. The story was engaging, but I found myself being reminded that I was reading someone's interpretation of the events. However, I would recommend this to anyone interested in journalism, magazines or entrepreneurship.

The Truth Will Out: Unmasking the Real Shakespeare by Brenda James
The Truth Will Out: Unmasking the Real Shakespeare

I'm new to the discussion of Shakespear authorship, however, I found this book very well researched and written and thorough. There is a lot of detail, but the writing and subject matter makes it a page turner.
