I enjoyed the authors point of view on life and himself while on Whale Island. Its a relaxing summer read. Read it only when on my own boat.
After also reading "My Old Man and the Sea" , a comfort level with the author's style is developing . Ill look forward to another one of his books . So lets hope he writes one. I sail in the Thames River and often sail by his other island house. This pulls both books together for me.
