We had to read this book for school. and we had to read it during the summer! it was terrible! i didnt even finish it! it was just soooo boring. the coolest part was like the last 3 chapters and that was still stupid. why would john aycliffe wait until bear was out of jail to try and kill crispin? he could've just done it while crispin was dragging bear out. i thought the book was terrible and so did all my friends.
