For fans of the Richard Jury series, this book is a satisfying delight. Carefully plotted and rich in character, Dust will reward you more than ever. For readers who are new to the series (or even to Martha Grimes's novels), you will find yourself waiting anxiously for her newest work. Though this book is a stand-alone winner, it will tempt you to expand your relationship with Richard, Melrose, and all the intriguing people who inhabit Grimes's mysteries.

For anyone growing up in the 1950's, this hilarious book will touch your heart. Mr. Bryson's tale of Des Moines, Iowa, could be any midwestern town of that era. You will find yourself only putting the book down long enough to take time to relive your own memories of that wonderful time.
