We checked this book from the library before a trip to Colorado...and now we MUST buy it! It is a wonderful intro to Colorado sites and facts. Each letter of the alphabet has a 4-line poem...but there's more: there are also multi-paragraph descriptions as sidebars. For the younger kids, you can just read the poems. The illustrations are beautiful. A very well-done book, my 5-year-old especially loves it.
