Plywood furniture at it's finest. A complete history with the whole creation process explained step-by-step. I bought this book hoping for a DIY explaination, but was pleased to learn about the history and see detailed images of how large woodshops go about making the bends and folds. The compendium of photos in the back is gorgeous and chalk full of ideas for aggressive woodworkers.

I bought Ms. Beak's book at a time when I was trying to figure out how to nurture my spirituality without joining an organized religion that I didn't completely agree with. This book did ignite my divine spark, it re-ignited my curiosities in the human spirit and was a kick to read. She is very well-educated on religion/ spirituality and her advice comes from experience and knowledge. I would recommend this book to women of all faiths, cultures and backgrounds. Fantastic.
