I enjoyed reading this book. It is a bit too self pitying, she does have a few pity parties on the way, but, on the whole I enjoyed reading it. Italy was so inviting that I want to visit and learn Italian!

After the first few pages I was hooked. Jacob and his story of life as an old man remembering life as a young man, held me in thralled. I felt sad when I closed the book. I did not want it to end. A must read book!
