Haiku Handbook: How to Write, Share, and Teach Haiku by William S Higginson

mtBRAT01, May 7, 2009

Teach Haiku? book in library, always late to return. Therein lies the story. I'll just have to buy it. Visited Powells traveling through to the Coast this April and bought two more haiku books on sale: real treats. But the library book is the one I want to work from, to try my hand at making haiku, combining with other arts like Sumi-e, calligraphy, ink pen drawing, washes, etc., etc., etc. This is a great book because it reviews the history of haiku, it's main creators and caretakers over the years, and its contemporary practitioners. Buy your own copy, as I'm doing now!
